3.1 General position

MinVisor is a platform that facilitates expert access. Once an expert has accepted a request and delivered a response or completed the booked interaction, fees are generally non-refundable except as expressly stated below or required by law.

3.2 Eligible refund situations

  • The user was charged twice for the same request and the duplicate charge is verified.
  • A technical failure attributable to MinVisor prevents delivery of the paid interaction and MinVisor cannot reasonably provide an alternative.
  • The expert response is materially abusive, fraudulent, impersonated, or violates MinVisor’s user safety standards, as determined by MinVisor acting reasonably.
3.3 Non-refundable situations
  • The user dislikes, disagrees with, or does not act on an expert’s opinion after delivery.
  • The user submitted incomplete, incorrect, misleading or insufficient information.
  • The user expected a diagnosis, prescription, guaranteed result, detailed treatment plan, legal/financial decision, emergency advice or ongoing consultation beyond the purchased format.
  • The user missed a scheduled live call without timely cancellation or rescheduling as per the applicable rules.
  • The user violated platform policies, attempted off-platform contact, abused experts or misused expert content.
3.4 Cancellations by format
  • Text and audio/video responses: No cancellations allowed.
  • Short live calls: A user may reschedule or cancel only within the displayed cancellation window. Late cancellations, no-shows or repeated rescheduling may be non-refundable. If the expert cancels or misses the call, MinVisor may offer rescheduling, credit, replacement or refund.
3.5 Refund decision and process

MinVisor may determine refunds, credits, reversals, rescheduling, reallocation or support resolutions in accordance with this Policy, platform rules and applicable law, acting reasonably and in good faith. Where an issue relates to expert performance, MinVisor may seek the expert’s response where practicable before issuing a refund or payout adjustment, but may take immediate action for safety, fraud, chargebacks, legal compliance or urgent support reasons.

3.6 Processing timeline

Approved refunds will be initiated within a reasonable period after verification. Actual credit to the user’s account depends on banks, card networks, UPI/payment gateways and payment method timelines. • Refunds, cancellations, credits and reversals are governed by MinVisor’s Refund & Cancellation Policy and are not automatic merely because the user disagrees with, dislikes or chooses not to follow an expert response.
  • Expert responses, audio/video recordings, screenshots, transcripts, images, likeness, voice samples and related content are for the user’s personal, non-commercial use only and may not be copied, reposted, redistributed, published, sold, trained on, scraped, used for AI systems or commercially exploited without written consent.
  • The user consents to MinVisor sharing the submitted question, selected response format, relevant account details and necessary contextual information with the selected expert or expert entity for the purpose of responding to the request.
  • Use of the Platform does not automatically create a formal doctor-patient, therapist-client, lawyer-client, investment advisor-client, fiduciary or other regulated professional-client relationship unless separately and expressly agreed in writing and permitted by applicable law.

Implementation requirement: MinVisor should maintain a timestamped record of this acknowledgement, including the user ID, transaction ID, policy version, date/time, IP/device details where available, selected expert, response format and payment status.

17.3 High-Risk Question Rejection & Escalation Policy

MinVisor may refuse, decline, redirect, pause, refund, escalate, remove or restrict any user request or expert response that appears to involve high-risk, emergency, unlawful, unsafe, misleading or out-of-scope content.

Examples of high-risk requests include:

  • Medical emergencies, severe symptoms, diagnosis, treatment decisions, prescription changes, emergency care or urgent clinical intervention.
  • Self-harm, suicide, violence, abuse, harassment, exploitation, crisis situations or threats to personal safety.
  • Eating disorders, pregnancy-related risk, child/minor health matters, severe nutrition deficiencies, allergic reactions or serious medical conditions requiring in-person care.

17.4 Category-Specific Disclaimer Policy

This Policy should appear within the general Disclaimer Policy and be displayed contextually on category pages and checkout screens for sensitive categories.

A. Health, Nutrition, Fitness and Wellness: Guidance is general and informational unless clearly stated otherwise by a qualified professional acting within lawful scope. MinVisor is not a hospital, clinic, telemedicine provider, emergency service or substitute for in-person medical care. Users should not use MinVisor for diagnosis, prescription, emergency symptoms, eating disorders, pregnancy risk, serious medical conditions, child/minor medical issues or urgent health decisions.

B. Skincare and Aesthetics: Guidance is general educational information and is not a substitute for in-person consultation, diagnosis, prescription, patch testing, procedure planning or emergency dermatological care. Users should seek in-person professional care for allergic reactions, burns, infections, severe acne, pregnancy-related concerns, prescription products, procedures or serious skin conditions.

C. Finance and Investment Education: Guidance is for general education only and is not personalized investment, tax, legal, insurance, securities, portfolio or fiduciary advice unless the expert is lawfully authorized, the format permits it and the engagement expressly states otherwise. Users should not buy, sell or hold securities, investments, insurance or financial products solely based on MinVisor responses. MinVisor does not guarantee returns or outcomes.

D. Business, Startup and Career: Guidance is opinion-based and informational. MinVisor does not guarantee jobs, admissions, funding, revenue, business success, investor interest, performance outcomes, immigration outcomes or career results.

E. Legal or Regulated Advice: If enabled in the future, legal or regulated-category experts may provide general information only unless a separate formal engagement is clearly created and permitted by law. MinVisor is not a law firm, tax firm, investment adviser, medical provider or regulated professional-services provider.

17.5 No Professional-Client Relationship Statement

Use of MinVisor does not automatically create a formal professional-client, doctor-patient, therapist-client, lawyer-client, chartered accountant-client, investment advisor-client, fiduciary, consultant-client or other regulated advisory relationship between a user and MinVisor or between a user and any expert.

Any formal professional engagement outside the standard MinVisor question-response flow must be separately disclosed, separately agreed, lawfully permitted and subject to any additional terms required by the relevant expert or regulated professional. MinVisor is not responsible for off-platform engagements unless expressly agreed in writing by MinVisor.

17.6 Expert Onboarding Declaration Policy

Before being listed, each expert or expert entity should actively accept an onboarding declaration confirming that:

  • All identity, qualification, license, registration, employment, experience, category, pricing, tax, payout and profile information submitted to MinVisor is true, accurate, current and not misleading.
  • The expert has the right, authority, qualification and lawful ability to provide the listed services and will remain within professional scope.
  • The expert will not impersonate another person, delegate responses without authorization, use unapproved assistants, or allow any person other than the selected/approved expert to respond where the user chose a specific expert.
  • The expert will comply with MinVisor’s policies, refund/cancellation rules, safety standards, confidentiality obligations, data protection requirements, recording rules, content standards and user trust requirements.
  • The expert will not solicit users off-platform, request personal contact details, share private payment links, redirect users to competing services, misuse user data or bypass MinVisor’s commercial model.
  • The expert will promptly update MinVisor if credentials expire, licenses change, employment status changes, conflicts arise, pricing changes or the expert is unable to respond within agreed timelines.
  • The expert accepts that MinVisor may approve, reject, re-verify, pause, delist, suspend payouts, investigate complaints or restrict platform access where required for safety, quality, compliance, user protection or platform integrity.
17.7 Expert Suspension, Delisting & Re-Verification Policy

MinVisor may pause, restrict, suspend, delist or require re-verification of an expert or expert entity at any time where MinVisor reasonably believes that action is needed to protect users, comply with law, preserve platform integrity, prevent misuse or manage operational/reputational risk.

Grounds may include :

  • False, misleading, unverifiable, expired or incomplete credentials.
  • Repeated delays, non-delivery, materially incomplete responses, poor-quality responses or repeated user complaints.
  • Advice outside scope, unsafe guidance, emergency/diagnostic/prescriptive content where not permitted, or regulated advice without proper authority.
  • Harassment, discrimination, abuse, fraud, impersonation, confidentiality breach, data misuse or violation of user safety standards.
  • Off-platform solicitation, private payment requests, bypassing MinVisor, redirecting users, or unauthorized reuse of platform/user data.
  • Regulatory concerns, legal notices, reputational risk, payment disputes, chargeback patterns or conduct that may harm MinVisor or users.

MinVisor may act immediately in urgent cases. For non-urgent issues, MinVisor may provide an opportunity to respond or remedy where reasonably practicable. Suspension or delisting does not waive MinVisor’s right to withhold, reverse or adjust payouts connected to disputed, refunded, unlawful, unsafe or policy-violating interactions.

17.8 Off-Platform Transaction & Solicitation Policy

Users and experts must not use MinVisor to bypass MinVisor’s platform flow, fees, safety standards, payment collection, dispute process or user trust model.

Users may not request experts’ personal phone numbers, private emails, direct payment links, WhatsApp numbers, social media DMs, personal booking links or off-platform paid arrangements unless expressly permitted by MinVisor.

Experts may not solicit, redirect, upsell, convert or move MinVisor-originated users into off-platform paid services, consultations, packages, subscriptions, programs, calls, direct payments or substantially similar services without MinVisor’s prior written consent or a separately agreed commercial/referral arrangement.

MinVisor may suspend accounts, deny refunds, withhold payouts, remove access, restrict features, investigate misconduct and take further action where off-platform solicitation or fee-circumvention is suspected.

17.9 Refund Abuse, Chargeback Abuse & Account Enforcement Policy

MinVisor may restrict, suspend or terminate accounts and refuse future service where a user or expert misuses the refund, cancellation, chargeback, review, support or grievance process.

Examples include repeated refund requests after receiving expert responses, false complaints, abusive support behavior, chargeback misuse, duplicate accounts, payment fraud, obtaining responses without paying, misrepresenting facts, threatening experts for refunds, or using reviews/grievances to pressure MinVisor or experts unfairly.

MinVisor may withhold access, reverse credits, restrict payment methods, require additional verification, refuse future bookings or pursue recovery of amounts where misuse is identified.

17.10 User Content License & Platform Use Rights

Users retain ownership of the questions, reviews, feedback, uploads, testimonials and other content they submit, subject to rights held by third parties and applicable law. By submitting content to MinVisor, users grant MinVisor a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, display, moderate, route, translate, format and use such content as necessary to operate, support, secure, improve and enforce the Platform.

Private user questions and sensitive information will not be used for public marketing in identifiable form without consent. MinVisor may use anonymized, aggregated or de-identified insights for analytics, product improvement, demand planning, category trends, quality monitoring, fraud prevention, business reporting and platform development, provided such use does not reasonably identify an individual user.

Users must not submit content they do not have the right to share. Users are responsible for ensuring that uploaded documents, images, personal data, business information, medical information, financial information or third-party content are lawful and authorized.

17.11 Data Incident & Breach Response Policy

MinVisor will take commercially reasonable steps to protect personal data and platform records. No digital platform can guarantee absolute security. If MinVisor becomes aware of an actual or suspected unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, misuse, alteration or breach involving personal data under MinVisor’s control, MinVisor may take steps to assess, contain, investigate, mitigate, document and remediate the incident.

Where legally required, MinVisor will notify affected individuals, regulators, law enforcement, payment providers, experts, vendors or other relevant parties. MinVisor may delay or limit notification where permitted by law to protect investigation, security, evidence preservation or users.

Users and experts must promptly notify MinVisor if they suspect unauthorized access to their account, leaked credentials, misuse of user information, unauthorized recordings, impersonation, data loss or security compromise.

17.12 Pre-Checkout Disclosure & Fair Notice Policy

MinVisor should present key terms before payment in a clear and visible manner. The checkout or payment confirmation screen should display, where applicable:

  • Selected expert name and category.
  • Response format selected: text, audio/video response, live call or other enabled format.
  • Price, GST/taxes, platform fees if separately displayed, and total payable amount.
  • Expected response timeline and whether it starts from payment, expert acceptance or scheduled time.
  • Refund/cancellation limitations and the fact that refund is not automatic after expert delivery.
  • No emergency use and no guaranteed outcome disclaimer for sensitive categories.
  • Expert may decline or request clarification, in which case MinVisor may provide refund, credit, rescheduling or alternate resolution at its discretion.
  • No recording, reposting, redistribution, commercial use, AI training, voice cloning or misuse of expert content.
  • Support/grievance contact and link to Terms, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Disclaimer Policy.

This should be implemented in the product flow so users cannot reasonably claim that key restrictions were hidden only in long-form terms.

17.13 Risk Management & Insurance Note

Legal policies reduce risk but are not a substitute for operational controls, expert screening, consent logs, data security and insurance. MinVisor should consider obtaining suitable insurance as it scales, including cyber liability insurance, technology errors and omissions/professional indemnity insurance, directors and officers insurance and any other coverage recommended by an insurance advisor based on the categories offered.

This note is for internal risk planning and need not be published as a public website policy unless MinVisor chooses to do so.
